Breast Reduction
This surgery removes excessive amount of breast tissue.
It is performed under general anaesthesia.
Incision is made around the areola, extends vertically downward to the crease beneath the breast, and further follows the natural line of the crease.Excess tissue is removed and the breast skin is stretched. The remaining tissue is stitched up. Part of the surgery is also a modification of the areola, which is moved and reduced. Suction drain is inserted into the wounds to drain off fluids and left there for 2-3 days. Firm elastic bandage is applied.
Surgery with a 1-2 days stay at the clinic under the attendance of professional nursing staff.
Convalescence ca 2 weeks.
Breast-lift, Mastopexy
This surgery lifts and reshapes saggy breasts, or respectively it is combined with augmentation – enhancement by breast implants.
It is performed under general anaesthesia.
Excess, slack skin is removed, leaving the mammary gland in its place. The nipple and areola are moved to the highest position possible. The skin around the nipple is brought together, stitches are localised around the nipple and in a vertical line down to the breast crease (vertical methos) or further in the breast crease (T-method). Drains are inserted to drain off fluids for 1-2 days. Firm elastic bandage is applied.

Breast Augmentation
Surgical insertion of implants into the breasts to enhance the volume and improve the shape.
It is performed under general anaesthesia.
The incision is made under the breast crease or under the areola. The implant is inserted either under the mammary gland, under the muscle or partially under the muscle. The choice depends on the quality and position of the gland, the quality of skin and subcutis and the quality of the muscle. The type and shape of the implant is chosen according to the original shape of the breasts so that the result is as natural as possible. In the end of the surgery, a fixative bra is put on and a compressive bandage applied.

Convalescence ca 2 weeks.
